As part of our Independence Day Celebrations, the Cultural Committee invites all classes to participate in two exciting competitions! 🇮🇳✨
Open to BSW I, BSW II, BSW III, MSW I & MSW II
🎨 RANGOLI COMPETITION
📅 Date: 11th August, Tuesday
🎯 Theme: India Through the Ages
👥 Team Size: 3 participants per class
⏱️ Time Limit: 1 hour
From 2 pm to 3 pm
Important Rules:
* Only dry rangoli materials such as colours, flowers, pulses, etc. are allowed.
* Paints, water and permanent colouring materials are not permitted.
* Teams must bring their own materials.
* No stencils, printed designs, mobile phones or pre-drawn outlines.
* Participants must report 15 minutes before the competition.
* The rangoli must be an original creation and follow the theme.
Judging Criteria: Theme relevance • Creativity & originality • Artistic presentation • Neatness & visual appeal

🎶 PATRIOTIC GROUP SINGING COMPETITION
📅 Date: 12th August, Wednesday
From 2 pm to 4 pm
🎯 Theme: Regional Patriotic Folk Songs of India
👥 Team Size: 5–10 participants per class
⏱️ Performance Duration: 5–7 minutes
Important Rules:
* Songs may be performed in any Indian regional language.
* Live musical instruments or karaoke tracks are permitted.
* Performances should reflect patriotism, regional culture and the musical traditions of India.
* Teams must report 15 minutes before their scheduled performance.
* The performance must be respectful and appropriate to the spirit of Independence Day.
Judging Criteria: Theme relevance • Vocal quality & harmony • Coordination & teamwork • Stage presence • Creativity & cultural representation
